What does โคมไฟ mean?

A general term for any electric light fixture or lamp in Thai homes, offices, and public spaces. Used for table lamps, floor lamps, ceiling fixtures, and decorative lighting. Thai speakers commonly use this when shopping for lighting, asking someone to turn lights on/off, or describing room furnishings. More formal than หลอดไฟ (light bulb).
